For an emergency vehicle manufacturer, the only logical next step was the fabrication of their own water and foam tanks, that's why the team at Allain Equipment Manufacturing Ltd. developed an exclusive design, settled on the best materials and has been producing their own AEM Co-Polymer Polypropylene tanks since early 2000.

Resin:

High impact resistance
Good chemical resistance
Better resistance to cracking at low temperatures than homopolymer
More pliable than homopolymer
50% lighter than steel
10% lighter than fiberglas

6" fill tower
6" overflow that spills behind rear wheels
Tank to pump - tank fill - discharge sleeve (2)
Sump box for tank to pump
Long diffusers to protect baffles and maximize water flow
Baffles according to ULC and NFPA standards

Options:

Porta-tank and/or ladder indents
Removable top lid cover
Square or round dump flange
Rear direct fills
T-Type tanks or rectangular tanks
Foam tanks (separate or integrated)

Quality Control:

Before leaving Allain Equipment Manufacturing Ltd. facilities, each tank is thoroughly inspected and tested for leaks. It is then installed following specific procedures to ensure that no damage occurs.

Warranty:

We are so confident in our design and our choice of materials that we guarantee each tank to be free from any material defects and any error in workmanship. The warranty shall be valid for the service life of the vehicle that it was originally installed in, assuming that the vehicle is actively used in fire suppression.
